Nutrition And Exercise Are Not Enough

Nutrition and Exercise Are Not Enough

When it comes to health, nutrition and exercise are not enough. The following story explains why.
Once upon a time, the mother of three little pigs became quite sick. Her low energy and lack of physical condition prompted the little pigs to go out into the world and search for a solution to help their mother regain her health.

The first little pig went off and met a person teaching nutrition. The pig took this information and built a ‘house of health’ to test it out.

Not long after completion, a wolf (which in this story we will call "life") knocked at the door and said, "little pig, little pig, let me come in." "Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin” answered the little pig.

“Then I'll huff and I'll puff, and I'll blow your ‘health’ in", said the wolf. “Go on, try it” said the little pig in a confident high-pitched voice. So the wolf huffed and he puffed and that’s exactly what he did.
The little pig quickly ran off to find his brothers, understanding that nutrition alone was not enough to achieve sustainable health.

Exercise And Nutrition Is Not Enough

The second little pig met a person teaching both nutritional information and exercise as the best road to health. He took these two health habits and built a ‘house of health’ to test the theory.

Soon enough, along came the wolf and said, "little pig, little pig, let me come in." "Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin" said the second little pig.

"Then I'll huff and I'll puff, and I'll blow your ‘health’ in", said the wolf. “Love to see it” squealed the second little pig in an even more confident and high-pitched voice. So the wolf huffed and he puffed and that’s exactly what he did. Both little pigs very quickly scurried off to find their third brother, understanding that nutrition and exercise are not enough to achieve sustainable health.

Exercise And Nutrition Is Not Enough

While all of this was happening, the third little pig had met a person teaching five simple habits as the best way of improving health. He learned about Mindset, Hydration, Nutrition, Sleep and Movement and discovered that when practiced consistently each day, a complete health transformation can occur. As he completed his ‘house of health’, the other two brothers arrived and he shared these lessons with them.

The next day, the wolf appeared. Knocking on the door he said, "Little pig, little pig, let me come in." "Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin" said the third little pig.

"Then I'll huff and I'll puff, and I'll blow your ‘health’ in", said the wolf. All that was heard by the wolf was the sound of three little pigs rolling around on the floor in hysterical laughter.

So he huffed and he puffed, and he puffed and he huffed, but could not blow their health down. The wolf left soon after feeling worn-out, dejected and was never seen again.

Exercise And Nutrition Is Not Enough

The next day, the three little pigs returned to their mother and shared all they had learned on their health journey. They shared that together, nutrition and exercise are not enough to create sustainable health, but when combined with Hydration, Sleep and Mindset, a powerful health formula develops that can protect us, even when times are tough.

Knowing the busy nature of their mother’s life and the fact she found it hard to stay motivated, they told her about a fun, interactive health challenge that enabled her to practice these habits each day. They explained that the challenge was more like playing a game than changing the way she lived. Intrigued, she visited the link below, joined one of the health challenges and started living a life full of energy and vitality.
