Many factors influence health, however, mindset is the single MOST important bar none. Put simply, a healthy mindset creates the foundation for a healthy body.

Each day of the challenge, your goal is to complete a small activity that will not only enhance your mindset, but increase motivation, boost resilience and improve overall results.

Once registered, you will assess your mindset to see the areas in which you are excelling, as well as the areas that may need some support.

HYDRATION
Re-ignite your body

On average, our bodies are made up of about 70 percent water, so it makes sense that the more hydrated we become, the better our bodies will function. Headaches, low energy and poor concentration are just a few of the basic signs that our hydration levels may be out of balance.

During the challenge, your goal is to drink a set amount of water, specific to your body weight and challenge level.

Once registered, you will gain access to a document explaining everything you need to know about hydration and how much to drink.

NUTRITION
Re-fuel your engine

Our nutritional needs are about as unique as our fingerprints (what works for one person may not for another). Unfortunately, the current modern day approach to nutrition is all about the latest “one-size-fits-all” formula and is part of the reason why we are seeing some of the highest levels of ill-health in history. 

My Health Challenge is proud to offer something different. Personalised nutrition that you tailor to meet the unique needs of your own body. It is not about arduous calorie counting, bland foods or pre-packaged meals. It is about learning how your body works, what it responds to best and, most importantly, how to sustain these healthy choices long term. To achieve this, we offer 4 nutritional levels from which to choose. 

Level 1 is the easiest, offering simple steps to help break old habits. Level 3 is the strictest, focusing on proven strategies to re-establish health and level 4 is fully customisable, where you can create the rules to suit your individual needs. This is great for people who want to fine-tune their own approach, or may have specific dietary requirements. To view the nutritional guidelines for each level, click here.

Each day, your challenge is to eat in accordance with the nutritional guidelines of the level you choose. You start with five points and deduct a point each time you make a non-compliant food choice. The key to success is to choose a level that is challenging, yet achievable. 
 

Once registered, you will gain access to a number of delicious recipes that will help you to create the meals you love.

SLEEP
Recharge your batteries 

With all of our modern day stress, sleep can often be the first thing we sacrifice for activities deemed "higher priority" in life. Colds, flu, aches and pains, irritation and a lack of energy, are just a few of the signs that our priorities around sleep may need addressing. In short, sleep helps us recover from the demands of our busy lives and recharge our batteries for tomorrow.

Each night, your goal is to sleep for a minimum of seven hours.

Once registered, you will gain access to a document explaining everything you need to know about sleep and how to set-up a sleep routine guaranteed to improve both your physical and mental wellbeing.

MOVEMENT
Regain your fitness and function

Optimal performance, mental clarity and physical resilience are just a few of the many benefits we gain from moving. This habit is about performing the things each day that help your body to feel and function better. If improving fitness is your goal, then walking each day might be the focus. If building strength and stamina is important, then a specific weight-training program may be the key. Whether it's weight training, tennis or Tai Chi, the goal is to create a routine each day that is fun, builds energy and improves function.

Each day, your challenge is to exercise and stretch for a minimum period of time, specific to the level you choose.

Once registered, you will gain access to a stretch document that will show you which of your muscles are tight and what to do to safely and effectively stretch them.
