Habit Pills - Habits for Healthy SuccessOver the years as an Exercise Physiologist, I have watched hundreds of "one-size-fits-all" fads come and go in the health industry. These unsustainable formats have unfortunately left a trail of tired, injured, discouraged and overwhelmed people, feeling like the pathway to health was just all too hard.

In 2004 I decided to investigate why so many people were seeking these so-called ‘magic pills’ and if there was such a thing, what would it actually look like? Well, what I found was quite remarkable!

While I don’t believe in magic pills, I found something that claimed to be about as close to it as you can get. A small group of health habits that when practiced together, created an incredibly powerful foundation for health; the sort of foundation, that regardless of a persons age, gender, culture, genetic make-up or lifestyle, delivered consistent results time and time again. Unconvinced, I decided to test these theories on myself and a few of my clients. I very quickly discovered that the results did indeed match the claims. By practicing these 5 health habits consistently, we all looked better, felt better, moved better and were so much happier.

Excited by these results, I started to refine the habits. I made them more fun, engaging and motivating. I connected them with simple daily tasks that anyone could do and made them customisable so that regardless of what level you practiced them at, results were inevitable.

The product of this fine-tuning over the years is what is now present today in the My Health Challenge platform. Hi, I'm Geoff and I've been involved in the health industry since 1998, when I graduated from Otago University, New Zealand, with a double degree in Exercise Science and Commerce. Over the last two decades, I have enjoyed coaching and mentoring in many areas of the health industry, from individuals and small businesses to large corporate companies.

Today, I am the director of my own Sydney-based Exercise Physiology practice, and the founder of the online health software, My Health Challenge.

I truly believe that to enjoy life, you have to take care of yourself. This self-care begins by tailoring a unique approach to health; an approach that is enjoyable, realistic and sustainable.
